Terms and Conditions of the Consonance Therapy International Association

I. General Provisions

  1. These Terms and Conditions define the rules for using the website and the rules of membership in the Consonance Therapy International Association (CTIA), hereinafter referred to as the “Association”.
  2. The Association’s headquarters is located in Duchnów, Poland. The Association operates under Polish law, in particular the Law on Associations and its Statute.
  3. The Association is a professional organization focused on, among others, certifying therapists and supervising Consonance method standards in cooperation with the Consonance Therapy Institute.

II. Definitions

  • Service – the website located at consonance-association.org
  • User – any person using the Service.
  • Member – an individual or legal entity listed in the Association’s register (ordinary, supporting, or honorary).

III. Electronic Services

  1. Through the Service, the Association enables: access to information about activities, online membership applications, and verification of Consonance therapist certificates.
  2. Users are obliged to use the Service in accordance with the law and good practices.

IV. Membership

  1. In accordance with §11 of the Statute, ordinary membership is available to persons with a university degree (psychology/humanities) who have completed at least two modules of basic training at the Consonance Therapy Institute.
  2. Membership is granted by a resolution of the Management Board within 3 months of application.
  3. Members are required to pay regular membership fees.

V. Refund Policy

  1. Membership Dues: In accordance with standard practices for non-profit organizations and associations, the joining fee and annual membership dues are non-refundable. These funds are allocated entirely towards fulfilling the statutory objectives of the Consonance Therapy International Association (CTIA) and covering administrative costs. In the event of resignation or termination of membership during the billing year, the paid annual fee is not subject to a prorated refund.
  2. Donations: Voluntary donations made to the Association are strictly non-refundable.
  3. Events and Certification: Refund policies regarding tickets for conferences, training sessions, or certification processes are specified in separate terms and conditions dedicated to those specific events.

VI. Communication

  1. In accordance with §56 of the Statute, notifications sent to the e-mail address provided by the member are considered effective and binding.

VII. Data Protection (GDPR/RODO)

  1. The personal data administrator is CTIA with its registered office in Duchnów. Details are available in the Privacy Policy.
