The Consonance Therapy International Association (CTIA) is an independent, international organization that brings together professionals to develop and promote the Consonance Therapy method. The Association was established for the purpose of carrying out educational and professional activities, as well as implementing and maintaining elevated standards of quality in the provision of psychological and psychotherapeutic support.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The Association’s Mission, Aims, and Objectives<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The mission of the Consonance Therapy International Association is to ensure that psychotherapy is recognized as a truly effective tool capable of addressing the challenges of the modern world. The objective is to effect a paradigm shift within the industry, transitioning from a \u201cprocess for process’ sake\u201d model to one that is meticulously focused on addressing the unique needs of each client.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Association endeavors to establish clear criteria and standards for the effectiveness of psychotherapeutic services, ensuring measurable and high-quality outcomes. It is undeniable that modern day people live in a world of information excess, profound transformations, and unparalleled levels of stress, all of which necessitate immediate adaptation. The Consonance Therapy method is an innovative system that offers effective solutions to these challenges, enabling psychotherapy to keep pace with the times and serve people’s interests effectively in a rapidly changing world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The objectives of the Association are as follows:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The author of the Consonance Therapy method<\/strong> – Svitlana Lipinska<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The Consonance Therapy method is the result of over 30 years of practical research and experience by Svetlana Lipinskaya, a Master of Psychology, certified trauma therapist, dance-movement and body-oriented psychotherapist, supervisor and trainer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She has been working in psychology since 1994 and has had teaching experience since 1985. She has been training psychotherapists since 2006, and since 2020 has focused exclusively on the Consonance Therapy method. In her search for a holistic system, she has mastered eleven methods from various disciplines: eight body-oriented approaches, two verbal approaches to working with personality and trauma (Schema Therapy, EMDR) and one creative method. She has delivered over 1,500 training courses, seminars and masterclasses, attended by more than 25,000 people. Over 1,000 clients have undergone individual therapy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Author of six books. Expert in the field of body psychology and psychotrauma. Co-founder of the Consonance Therapy Institute. President of the Consonance Therapy International Association. The Consonance Therapy Institute (Warsaw, Poland) offers training for professionals. Structure of the Association<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

iThe structure is defined by the Articles of Association and consists of four bodies:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/path><\/svg>The General Assembly<\/strong> is the highest governing body of the Association. It determines the main directions of the Association’s activities and development, adopts resolutions on amendments to the Bylaws, elects and dismisses members of the Board, the Audit Commission, and the Ethics Commission, and reviews and approves their activity reports.<\/span><\/div>
<\/path><\/svg>The Board is the Association’s<\/strong> highest governing body between General Meetings and oversees all of its activities. It represents the Association, admits members and maintains the membership registry, approves plans and the budget, and manages the Association’s assets. The Board maintains lists of accredited specialists and training centers, establishes rules for issuing certificates for therapists, supervisors, and trainers, sets membership fees, and approves projects that contribute to the development of the method and the Association.<\/span><\/div>
<\/path><\/svg>The Audit Committee<\/strong> is the Association’s supervisory body. It conducts an audit of statutory activities at least once a year, with particular attention to financial management. It presents reports to the General Assembly and submits a proposal to grant discharge to the outgoing Board.<\/span><\/div>
<\/path><\/svg>The Ethics Committee<\/strong> is an advisory body established to monitor compliance with ethical standards. It reviews cases involving members’ non-compliance with general ethical principles, the Bylaws, and the Code of Ethics, and also addresses cases concerning professional ethics in the work of Consonance therapists.<\/span><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n <\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Membership<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Membership in the Consonance Therapy International Association is open to citizens of any country and legal entities that share our goals. Admission as a full or associate member is subject to the decision of the Board of Directors. According to the Bylaws, there are three categories of membership:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/path><\/svg>Full Member <\/strong>(Cz\u0142onek zwyczajny): an individual with a higher education degree in psychology or the humanities who has completed at least the first two modules of the basic training in the Consonance Therapy method. The decision to admit a new member is made by the Association’s Board through the adoption of a resolution based on the submitted application.<\/span><\/div>
<\/path><\/svg>Supporting Member <\/strong>(Cz\u0142onek wspieraj\u0105cy): a natural or legal person willing to provide the Association with regular financial, material, or other assistance. Does not have voting rights; specialized education is not required.<\/span><\/div>
<\/path><\/svg>Honorary Member (Cz\u0142onek honorowy): an individual who has rendered special services to the Association or to the development of the Consonance Therapy method (the title is conferred by the Board).<\/span><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
